BEST BROTH EVER. I use it in place of meat based broths and it's perfect. I'm not a vegan or vegetarian either. And not onion-y or garlic-y either. They use excellent herbs for their mix and it's a small simple list of ingredients.
I even put a cube in to my rice cooker (with the rice) and it really flavors the rice up well.

By Tessa M. This makes by far the yummiest veggie broth I've ever tasted. I'd describe it as similar to chicken broth - very rich and herby.
Tips: It's a little salty so you may want to reduce the amount of added salt when you cook with it. The cube is also sort of moist so you can cut it in half if you just need one cup of veg broth.

I use this bouillon when I make rice to flavor and salt the rice. It's a bit on the salty side, so only using one cube per 4 cups of water (doubling the water in the recipe) nicely seasons rice. Additionally, the herbs add good flavor. I also have used this product in making vegetable and bean soups. It provides a tasty base, but again, if you are sensitive to salt, you might want to try the salt-free version of this vegan product. Lastly, the subscribe and save feature really drops the price. I work in a health food co-op and we sell this for much more (even with a discount).

vegetarians will love it!May 15, 2007
By Linda Ledford-Miller I have tried many different vegetable bouillons in the past. Sadly, many have MSG or natural flavoring and must be avoided. This one is safe and delicious, and makes a great soup base, or a wonderful addition to a risotto. Enjoy!

I use this at least once a week and it is perfect! I only use half or a quarter of a cube at a time to cut down the amount of salt. Because it has a good, strong taste, a little goes a long way! I use it to make soup, flavor rice and potatoes, to make a veggie gravy, the list goes on and on!
